"The wedding was beyond our belief. It was stress free & well planned thanks to all of the staff at Katathani. Everything was excellently done including the flowers, the decorations, the hotel room the hair & make up, the minister and the reception. I would not change a thing. All of our guests had a wonderful time and felt well looked after. I can’t wait until we return next time. Maybe we will renew our vows.

"Satinee

Stuart and I wished to pass on our many thanks for all of your assistance for our wedding on February 10th at the Katathani.  Not only were you extremely helpful, your whole team, including the lovely Aye (not sure of the spelling of her name) made the day seamless and such a joy to experience.

The feedback that we have had from our guests was excellent and a comment was “if we knew it was going to be so wonderful we would have made sure all of the family came!”.  The highlights of the wedding for the guests were seeing the reception area for the first time lit up and the flying lantern ceremony.  We were so surprised at the quality of the photographs and the timely manner that there were able to be available to us.  Unfortunately we have yet to see the DVD due to travelling commitments but from all accounts from the parents, it is very well done.

The other lovely surprise was the skill of the delightful hair and make-up lady who not only was able to do my bridesmaid at late notice but did such a professional job, especially suited to western skin and hair types.  Bravo!

Satinee, again we thank you and the whole team for such a memorable day and would recommend the resort to anybody wanting such a memorable and different occasion!

We hope to enjoy the hospitality of the Katathani next time we are in Phuket and relive some of the wonderful memories."

"I made my very first visit to the Katathani resort in October 2007 and knew as soon as I saw the breath taking views and witnessed the kindness of the staff this was going to be the place were mark and I will marry.

We read reviews on the website, regarding weddings held here and can honestly say we too agree the whole experience was truly amazing.

Satinee the wedding planner did a fantastic job and we will be eternally grateful for all that she has done for us. Wards cannot express how amazing and breathtaking our whole day was.

Again dreams of having a perfect wedding day and feeling every inch of a princess, with all that the staff at Katathani had done for us, had made my dream come true.

"I would highly recommend the Katathani to any couple looking for a destination wedding. Satinee, our wedding planer took the stress out of organizing a wedding. We were so relaxed that we could enjoy every part of our special day.

Our 54 guests were raving about our wedding, the setting, the flowers, the food and the music… saying it was the best wedding they had been to.

I would do it all over again. There is nothing I would change. We look forward to renewing our vows and celebrating anniversary on the beach where we were married.

From the moment we met Satinee on a holiday in Thailand a little more than a year ago organising our wedding was so easy and stress free.

The day was perfect, everything from the amazing food, entertainment – including the lanterns and fireworks that our guests are still talking about, the trio band, the hair and makeup, photographer and videographer, decorated buggy, beautiful ceremony and reception venues to the flowers, staff at the reception and ceremony and how our suite was decorated on the night. Everything was perfect.

"Huge thank you to Satinee and all the staff at Katathani for making our wedding day run so smoothly. It was the perfect day and everything seemed to happen so effortlessly. We were so relaxed the whole day! The ceremony set up was beautiful and we were so pleased with the MC and the actual ceremony. The reception set up was also amazing on the sand, the food was fantastic and the DJ helped turn the wedding into a real party.

It was all absolutely perfect and so much more than we expected! The flying lantern ceremony was the icing on the cake and made for such a special ending to such a special night.
